In February 2023, a redesign of the themes assigned to the datasets of the data catalog of the PRIM portal was carried out.

The before/after of the theme redesign on PRIM.

Thus, the 66 datasets currently available on the PRIM portal and formerly associated with 7 themes have been grouped into 9 themes :

  • Stops (20 datasets);
  • Lines (17 datasets);
  • LOM non-law data (9 datasets);
  • Bicycles and New Mobilities (9 datasets);
  • Measured attendance (8 datasets);
  • Traffic and Timetables (5 datasets);
  • Pricing and Sales (4 datasets);
  • Accessibility (3 datasets);
  • Infrastructures (3 datasets).

As evidenced by the figures listed above, the same dataset can be affiliated to several themes.

The dataset "Stops and related lines" is affiliated with two themes (stops and lines).

Each theme has its own pictogram

Each of the 9 themes mentioned above is represented by a pictogram. This pictogram appears to the left of the title of each dataset affiliated with that theme.

Each dataset has a pictogram representing the topic to which it is affiliated.

Themes that allow you to filter datasets

The main purpose of these themes is to filter the datasets in the data catalog. This makes it easier for you to find the data you are looking for in the data catalog.

It is of course possible to select several themes during the same search. For example, I can select for the same search, the theme "stops" and the theme "line".

After selecting your search topics and clicking "apply filters", the data catalog displays all the data that meets your criteria and shows the number of matching datasets.

Search in the PRIM data catalog by theme.

Thank you for reading this entire article! We now invite you to experiment with the filter search in the data catalog of the PRIM portal for yourself and to discover the new topics. We remain available to welcome your comments and answer your questions at [email protected] address but also on the "Slack" of the "PRIM community", which you can join by following this link.
