road
A " road " is a set of routes grouped under the same name, this object refers to the identifier of the line available in the lines referential.
Ex: IDFM:C01371 (Metro 1)
trip
A " trip " defines a route on a given line, it is a structured sequence of stops.
E.g. IDFM:RATP:9541-C01371-10_3736592_955496 (Metro 1 – Sens la Défense)
service
A " service " trip is the declination of an itinerary at a given time. A ride assigns each stop on the route a time of passage.
On a day, a race is unique: two vehicles from the same line each make a different trip.
Ex: IDFM:100071 (Metro 1 - a trip that only runs on Saturdays from August 21, 2021 to August 28, 2021)
agency
An " agency " is a commercial network or a transport operator.
E.g. IDFM:1051 (Poissy - Les Mureaux) or IDFM:Operator_100 (RATP)
Stop
A " stop " is an object that describes a type of stop, it is:
- A stopping point of a single carrier, in this case it takes the following forms:
- StopPoint Ferré (RER, Transilien): "IDFM:[ID ZdA]"
- StopPoint (remains): "IDFM:[ID ArR]"
E.g. IDFM:3640 (Jean de La Fontaine)
- A " stop_area " is a grouping of physical stops with the same name, also known as a commercial stop:
- StopArea: "IDFM:[ID ZoC]"
E.g. IDFM:70604 (Porte de Choisy)
Please note:
" stop_point " is a non-perennial data for the bus. It is subject to change every day when the GTFS is published. The " stop_points " are rather stable for the rail network.
