A global vision of mobility is essential today to make life easier for travelers and offer the best choice for getting around. The ambition of MaaS (Mobility as a Service) is to organize end-to-end journeys thanks to a single digital medium bringing together enriched services (information, reservations, ticket purchases, after-sales service...) and partnerships - with transport operators but also new mobility operators (car-sharing and car-pooling, micromobility, parking services...) in a single tool.

Over the course of 2020, Île-de-France Mobilités teams have been working on a MaaS Guide to:

  • Showcase Île-de-France Mobilités' ambition to be the benchmark MaaS in the Paris region.
  • Propose best practices and clarify the main principles of interaction between mobility players in Île-de-France, in order to guarantee the best possible service to users and support sustainable business models around serviced mobility, for the benefit of the general interest.
