A dataset associating stops on the Île-de-France network with the Lines that serve them
A new dataset joined the "Catalogue data" on August 31, 2022. It is entitled "Stops and associated lines" and lists all public transport stops in the Île-de-France region, as well as the Lines that serve them. This dataset is produced by Île-de-France Mobilités and is updated daily at around 5pm.
This dataset lists the identifiers (route_id) and names(route_long_name) of the Lines on the Île-de-France network. It delivers this same information about the stops they serve(stop_id and stop_name). This database also makes it possible to geolocate Stopsthrough their GPS coordinates (point geo): latitude (stop_lat), longitude (stop_long). The name (nom_commune) and postcode (code_insee) of the commune in which the Stops is located are also referenced. Finally, the identity of the transport operator providing service on this line is also specified.
A dataset aligned to GTFS
All line and stop names and identifiers, as well as their geographic coordinates, are aligned to GTFS (Global General Transit Feed Specification): this is a standard format for publishing transport timetables and associated geographic information. Thus, as in GTFS, Stops on SNCF RER and Transilien Lines are identified as follows: "ID IDFM:monomodalStopPlace:XXXXXX" since these are "stop zones". Stops on other Lines, known as "reference stops", are identified as follows: "ID IDFM:XXXXXX".
If you'd like to have the complete theoretical transport offer (including not only the stops and Lines but also the theoretical timetables for public transport passages at the referenced stops), don't hesitate to download the GTFS which we've made available to you on the PRIM platform. You can also join our "Slack" of the "PRIM community", in particular its #données-GTFS channel in order to be informed of important modifications to this dataset.
