Sound Diffuser Prescriptions

Île-de-France Mobilités has drawn up regulations on the sound system of Passenger Information with the aim of stabilising operators' practices and having a referential on the design of all Passenger Information disseminated for the various transport areas and vehicles in the Île-de-France region.

The objective, as mentioned above, is to harmonize the practices and sound content deployed. These requirements are fully in line with the ambition sought by the Passenger Information Master Plan (SDIV) and its objectives.

Concerning the document itself, it is built with a view to serving as a referential for the design of Passenger Information disseminated via the sound channel, both in stations, stations and stopping points as well as on board.

The document relates to Passenger Information broadcast via the generic sound channel, and sets out certain rules for the dissemination of Passenger Information via specific sound channels (personal devices).

The rules prescribed in this document apply only to the stand-alone SIVE (On-Board Passenger Information System) (pre-recorded announcements). They do not apply in the event of a live speech by an agent.

The audio announcement libraries summarize all the requirements for each mode.
