Data model

Description: Geographical layer representing the road network used by the regular commercial bus lines authorised to run by Ile-de-France Mobilités with the cumulative number of trips per day.

For three types of day (weekday, Saturday, Sunday), the layer makes it possible to identify the bus lines using the road section in question, with a multi-line total of the number of trips and contribution to the total of each of the lines.

This dataset is related to the following datasets:

Routes of regular commercial bus lines in Ile-de-France as far as the route of the lines is concerned. Validity date of the routes used: April 2025

Repository of public transport lines in Île-de-France - active and soon to be active lines in terms of the identification of bus lines

Planned timetables on the public transport lines of Ile-de-France (GTFS Datahub) in terms of the number of trips on the days considered (GTFS notion of trip / trip-id). Days considered: 01/04/2025, 05/04/2025, 06/04/2025,

Genealogy: The underlying road referential is the IGN BD-TOPO road database. On the margins and for technical reasons, some sections were added during the treatments.

Quality: In multi-lane / counter-alley configurations, the generation algorithms of this layer can embed short sections of tracks generally perpendicular / at an angle to the general direction of the line lines, thus generating artifacts.

In these multi-lane configurations, the offer can be spread over several parallel road sections depending on the direction of traffic.
